Inside Look: An Adviser’s Journey To Joining Truly Independent

Choosing the right financial advice company is a significant decision for any adviser. We recently spoke with Rohid, one of our financial advisers, who shared his personal journey of moving to Truly Independent. His story highlights the seamless transition, the powerful tools at his disposal, and the support system that allows him to focus on what truly matters: delivering the best possible outcomes for his clients.

What was your main reason for joining Truly Independent?

After being a Restricted Adviser and an Appointed Representative, I wanted to become Independent. I chose Truly as they offer unbiased, transparent and holistic advice to their clients.

What stopped you from making the move earlier and what finally made you decide to join?

Once I had the Interview with Andrew and Neil and hearing their plans for Truly, I did not hesitate on making my decision to join.

How have you found it since moving?

I’ve found the transition quite easy,. It’s always difficult joining somewhere new and learning systems and processes. Truly have the systems in place and support is available to make the client/adviser journey much smoother. The Head Office team are really helpful and friendly and make moving to a company like Truly very easy.

What are the benefits you have enjoyed?

I’ve mentioned a few but Truly invest in the systems and tools that make life as an Adviser very easy. They have regular company updates online and events which keep you in the know, I’ve been able to share ideas and gain insight with other Advisers within Truly. Marketing is always great so you have customised teams backgrounds, stationary, business cards etc all look professional. Resources such as TIPS magazine and updates from fund managers are great visuals to share with clients – helping to explain complex topic in a simple manner.

What would your advice be to other IFAs in regards to joining?

In my opinion Truly Independent allow you to become the best adviser that you can be. Whether that means growing your business, providing a better proposition for your clients, making life easier for advisers, building on your knowledge and experience, having a plan for retirement……if this is what you aspire to have then don’t hesitate and ….JOIN!
