“You cannot build anything strong without a strong foundation. Equally, you need to have the most appropriate structure worked out first, before you build. Arguably, you can only achieve more clarity and vision of your intended course, by first comparing alternatives.
The structure is not to be confused with strategy. The strategy is the business activity you will adopt, review and on occasions change as the industry changes around you. Strategy is the variable. In contrast, the structure is the stable framework and the stability element that defines your strategy. However, there are similarities and hence why I place both into the Transition Zone of my six-step journey.”
